Testing Word 2010

This is a post testing to see if Word 2010 works with WP to post correctly.

Does this picture go to the correct space?

It did, but then I had to resize it and reinsert it here to work right. Word 2010 doesn’t provide “sizing” like uploading photos to server from the WP Admin section does. But it does provide a lot more options for formatting and picture frames and looks and such, than Windows Live Writer does, and I don’t know how it compares to Word 2007.

Getting Office 2010 Home& Student (for non-commercial use) lets you put it on 3 computers, and is $119 at Costco stores, $124.99 shipped from Costco.com. Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OneNote

From how it looks and feels on either my Win XP machine or my Windows 7 laptop, it’s fast and slick and more intuitive feeling than the previous version (which I didn’t use on my machines, but Frank had on his for awhile and I didn’t like it at all.)

That water mirror effect on your photo is cool looking. I wonder how different the word 2010 and word 2007 are for blog posting. I didn’t keep working with word 2007 because the MS Live Writer was newer. I always post with that software now. Did you have word 2007? I do have MS Office Premium 2010 beta installed on my Vista HD. I never tried the blog post on it but I might try it today if the beta still works.

I used Word 2010 to post the necklace pictures but I had to resize the bottom picture so it would fit on the page.

Word 2007 also has the same or most of the picture effects that word 2010 has. It was a chore though after posting to have to keep rezizing so the photo would fit.

I am using microsoft internet explorer now and the Ctrl/+ works to enlarge the text/page like firefox does.

I forgot to mention in the posts above that your picture of Victoria is beautiful. Where was it taken?
