   Dear Marysue,

   I received your beautiful homemade card today with the extra nice gift!
   Thank you so much. I’m sorry I was not so generous with you but in the future I plan to send something to all my sisters on their birthdays. The older we get, birthdays are to be remembered but they have their negative side too and happy greetings from our families help to make us smile instead of groan.
